Richard Bosman: SHIPPING

Headstone is delighted to mount the first solo exhibition by Claudia Shaldervan titled The Landscape Holds Its Breath. Ripe with symbolism, Shaldervan presents thirteen vibrant acrylic paintings. Erupting volcanic activity trades its monumental scale with mating toads, while an entrancing conch shell billows with luminescent egg sacs under refracting water. Shaldervan delivers a sharp, refreshing perspective on how we investigate the world, and encourages us to approach her dream-like vignettes with openness and curiosity.
