Marco Crocchianti & Yoonjee Kwak: You, But Only Just

Headstone is thrilled to open You, But Only Just, a two-person exhibition by artists Marco Crocchianti and Yoonjee Kwak. Crocchianti unveils a domestic sphere, void of a figure, using ink pen on paper coupled with unwavering patience; we come to witness what’s left. Stoic and perforated, Kwak’s ceramic vessels are sequentially built by pinching and turning clay, rejecting function for something inward and meditative. Together, Crocchianti and Kwak’s works simulate a silent being that is demonstrative rather than performative.
